DETAILED ITINERARY:

DAY 1 ARRIVAL

On arrival at the JKIA airport in Nairobi, Kenya, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional guide/driver outside the baggage bay. After a small meet and greet, you shall be driven through the capital city of Nairobi to the hotel for check-in. (normal check in is 14.00 hrs). Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 2 NAIROBI MASAI MARA

On this day, as the rays of the Sun kiss you, prepare yourself to drive to the Incredible Mara, have early breakfast and drive to Mara plains. The search for some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 bird’s species recorded on the reserve continues. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason you will hardly miss to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino). You shall reach in good time for lunch. After lunch relax and then embark on an evening game drive in the beautiful wildlife reserve.

DAY 3 MASAI MARA

A photographer’s delight – the WILD MARA

The East African savannah with abundance of wildlife –migratory and residents, stunning landscapes, colourful birds, dispersed trees and shrubs surely will leave you spell bound. Put your photography skills to test and capture the beautiful treasure only found in Africa. On this day you can also do an optional cultural visit to the traditional tribal MASAI village- here you can enjoy the exhibition of their traditional skill, artistry and their way of life.

DAY 4 MASAI MARA LAKE VICTORIA

On this day we shall do an early morning game drive in the Masai Mara. Later depart Masai Mara and proceed to Lake Victoria in Tanzania, we shall drive via the Isebania Kenya / Tanzania border town. You shall be welcomed by our Tanzania vehicle and driver guide at Isebania border after clearing with the Immigration & Customs procedures. A Drive to the South-Eastern bay of Lake Victoria as you arrive at your lodge late afternoon. Relax on the shores of this lake which is rich in history. The breeze is refreshing. If you have time, you may visit the Bunda Market.

DAY 5 LAKE VICTORIA SERENGETI

After breakfast, you shall visit a nearby Fishing Village in the company of a local guide. You can learn about the traditional Fishing techniques, selling mode of fresh Fish and the general rural life. Lateron, we shall drive into the Serengeti national Park which shares the same ecosystem with the Masai Mara game reserve. Enjoy a short afternoon game viewing drive en route.

DAY 6 SERENGETI

Enjoy the wild beauty of Serengeti with game drives.

DAY 7 SERENGETI NGORONGORO

As we depart from the Serengeti enroute a game viewing trip, we decend into the astounding Ngorongoro Crater which is famous for being the largest inactive and intact volcanic caldera in the whole world. With its glorious landscapes teeming with large number of animals including ungulates, black rhinos, golden cats apart from four of the Big Five and prolific birdlife, Ngorongoro is called Garden of Eden of Africa. Later we ascend to the crater rim and drown in the beauty of the sunset.

DAY 8 NGORONGORO TARANGIRE

After the view of the golden sunrise, we shall have our breakfast and do a morning game drive. Proceed to Tarangire national park. An afternoon game drive gives you a chance to see many more wildlife

DAY 9 TARANGIRE ARUSHA or NAIROBI

Short morning game viewing drive at the Tarangire. Proceed to Nairobi via the Tanzania / Kenya Namanga border town – Optional drop off in Arusha, Kilimanjaro Airport. Arrive Nairobi in the early evening
